Joseph
A. Koncilja was born in Pueblo, Colorado. Joe
received his preparatory education at the University of
Southern Colorado (B.S.). He acquired his legal
education at the Denver University College of Law, earning
his Juris Doctorate in 1979. Joe founded the
Koncilja law firm in 1982. Five years later, Joe,
joined by his brother, James Koncilja, formed Koncilja &
Koncilja, P.C. Joe is a frequent lecturer for
Colorado Continuing Legal Education, is a founding member
of the National College DUI Defense, a member of the
American Bar Association, as well as having the distinct
honor of being selected a Fellow of American Bar
Foundation. Joe is also a member of the American
Trial Lawyers Association, the Colorado Trial Lawyers
Association, the Pueblo Bar Association, and the Colorado
Bar Association.
James
R. Koncilja was born in Pueblo, Colorado. Jim
received his preparatory education at the Regis University
in Business Administration in 1982 (B.S.). He
acquired his legal education at the Denver University
College of Law, earning his Juris Doctorate in 1986.
In 1987, Jim and Joe Koncilja formed Koncilja &
Koncilja, P.C. Jim is also a member of the Colorado
Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association,
the Colorado Bar Association, and The Association of Trial
Lawyers of America. Jim’s current practice
consists of personal injury law, including automobile
accidents, workers compensation claims; Social Security
Disability claims; and premises liability claims.
Melissa
M. Esquibel
Gregory J. Styduhar was
born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. He received his
Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of
Southern Colorado and his Juris Doctorate from Creighton
University. While in Law School, Greg worked with
the Pueblo District Attorney’s office and the Milton
R. Abrahams Civil Legal Clinic. Greg is a member of
the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Colorado Trial
Lawyers Association, the Colorado Bar Association, and the
Pueblo Bar Association. Greg’s practice
focuses on Social Security Disability claims, personal
injury law, and defense of criminal cases.
Christopher
M. Turner received
his preparatory education at the University of Southern
Colorado in Political Science in 2002 (B.S.). He
acquired his legal education at The Thomas M. Cooley Law
School in Lansing, Michigan, where he graduated Cum Laude
in the top 10% of his class. While in Law School,
Chris participated on three National Moot Court teams and
was awarded the Outstanding Student Achievement Award upon
graduation. Chris is a member of the Colorado Bar
Association and the Pueblo Bar Association. Chris’
practice focuses on Personal Injury law and defenses of
criminal cases.
Robert
D. Baumberger was
born and raised in Gillette, Wyoming. He received
his Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Philosophy
from the University of Wyoming. He then received his
Juris Doctorate from the University of Wyoming, Collage of
Law. While in Law School, Robert worked with the
Wyoming Legal Services Program providing legal services to
indigent residents across the state. Robert is a
member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Pueblo Bar
Association. Robert’s focus is on workers
compensation law, personal injury law, and defense of
criminal cases.
Harley
G. Gifford was born
in Canon City, Colorado and raised in Pueblo, Colorado.
Harley attended the University of Southern Colorado prior
to enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps. While serving in
the Marine Corps as a non-commissioned officer, Harley
completed his undergraduate education graduating from
Regents College with a B.A., magna cum laude. After being
medically retired from the Marine Corps with a service
connected disability, Harley attended Washburn University
School of Law in Topeka, Kansas where he received his
Juris Doctor in 2005. Prior to joining Koncilja and
Koncilja, Harley worked as a commercial litigation
attorney in New Mexico. Harley is licensed to practice law
in both state and federal courts in Colorado and New
Mexico and his practice focuses on personal injury and
defense of criminal cases.
